Vulnerable, marginalized and unrecognized informal economy workers with women accounting over 65 percent; they include; -

  1. Socio-economic Rights - Own account or self-employed workers working alone or with family
  2. members as unpaid employees & apprentices
  3. Dependent workers in micro-enterprises working on contract or casual basis, family workers & apprentices.

  • Market vendors
  • Street vendors
  • Hawkers (mobile vendors)
  • Fisher folks
  • Street vendors
  • Small scale manufacturers (Jua-kalis)
  • Casual labourers and unpaid family workers
  • Waste pickers, cleaning agents and/or recyclers
  • Informal Micro service providers (shoe shiners, cobblers, head-loaders)
