The International Rescue Committee's (IRC's) Re:BUiLD program is looking for people interested in starting small businesses or growing their existing small businesses in Kampala.

Are you an aspiring entrepreneur or looking to grow your existing business in Kampala? The IRC's Re:BUiLD Program is here to help you with a chance to receive business grants and join vibrant refugee and host networks.

4,000 participants will have the chance to network and receive individual business grants. To qualify, you must:

  1. Have valid IDs (National ID for Ugandans, Refugee ID or Attestation Letter).
  2. Be aged between 18-45.
  3. Reside in Kampala Central, Nakawa, Makindye, Rubaga and Kawempe
  4. Speak Luganda, English, or Swahili at a conversational level.
  5. Show interest or experience in starting a business.
  6. Commit to attending weekly meetings for 3 months.

How to Apply: Registration starts in January 2024. Visit the Re:BUiLD program Livelihoods Resource Center (LRC) in Nsambya, Kampala, for screening and registration.
